In the June 2023 Snapshot Survey, we asked contractors about how they approach marketing promotions. Here’s one survey question and its results from the summary report, which is available in it’s entirety by Contractor University members here.
What Types of Marketing Promotions Does Your Company Run?
The survey findings demonstrate that discounts are the most commonly used type of marketing promotion (78%), closely followed by rebates (74%). Offering incentives such as free equipment with purchase (15%) and free/discounted installation with equipment purchase (19%) were also reported. These insights indicate that home services businesses often utilize price-based promotions to entice customers, which can be effective in attracting initial interest and converting prospects into paying customers.
