Do You Offer Training and Development Opportunities to Prepare Potential Successors for Their Future Roles
The majority of respondents (55%) said that they do not offer any training or development opportunities to prepare potential successors for their future roles. This is a significant finding, as it suggests that many home services businesses are not adequately preparing for the future. Training and development opportunities can help to ensure that potential successors have the skills and knowledge they need to be successful in their roles.
Here’s what an home services contractor from Ontario said in the survey:
“Our eldest son is taking the EGIA Contractor University courses to get ready to take over our company in 3-5 years.”
