Ongoing Education In Your Business

In the August 2023 Snapshot Survey, we asked contractors about their ongoing business education for themselves and their employees. Here’s one survey question and its results from the “Ongoing Business Education” summary report, which is available in it’s entirety by Contractor University members here.

How Important is Ongoing Business Education to Your Company?

Not a single respondent reported feeling that ongoing business education was “not important” to their company, a finding likely more relevant than the groups that said “somewhat important” (12%) and “very important” (88%) because it shows unanimous support for some measure of continuous training. The vast majority reporting that it is of high importance also indicates serious budgeting, planning and other costs are being allocated to actively consume additional training, as opposed to passively engaging in one-off training sessions

Here’s what an HVAC contractor from Nevada said in the survey:

“Staying relevant and up to date is essential to our operations. Connecting with likeminded business owners and utilizing the expertise of business professionals has been a key to our company’s success in the HVAC industry.”
